Q: I have bought a code with PayPal earlier. Is it possible to grant me a licence to the Pro version on the market?
A: Sorry, this is not possible.
Q: Why is the Pro version under a different publisher name?
A: 3D Magic Kft is the official publisher of the Pro version on the play store, as Tagsoft was not able to publish the paid version.
Q: Play Store is not available in my country. Is it possible to purchase a code over PayPal?
A: Sorry, this is not possible anymore, it is against the agreement with 3D Magic Kft.
Q: Why put the download limit to 250kB/s in the Lite version?
A: If there will be no limitations in the Lite version, nobody would pay for the Pro version.
Q: Why it doesn't support torrents with files bigger than 4GB?
A: Because the most often used fat32 filesystem on sdcards has a limit of 4GB
Q: My downloaded video has no sound. Why?
A: This is probably because your video player does not supports the audio codec used for the actual file. You can try other video player apps(Recommended: MX Player or Mobo Player).
Q: My downloaded content(video or music) appears twice in media gallery. Why?
A: It is a bug with the Android media scanner and media store, your media store got corrupted somehow. You should clear the data at Phone Settings > Applications > All applications > Media storage, and force a media scan, by restarting your device, or using for example this app.
Q: I have an external SD card/HDD, but tTorrent cannot save my downloads there. Why?
A: The problem is explained here, a workaround is described for rooted devices.
Q: After downloading a torrent then deleting all files associated with ttorrent, the program still shows lots of data being transferred. Explanation?
A: This few byte/sec data transferred is because of the DHT protocol. From v0.9.3 there is a setting to disable it, but it is not recommended.
Q: Where can I find the unlimited ad free version?
A: Choose the Buy the Pro version option in the Lite version, or go directly to the Play Store.
Q: I have purchased a code via PayPal earlier, will it be supported in the future?
A: Yes, the Lite version can be unlocked to the Pro version with the code.
Q: How can I open/play the downloaded files?
A: You can use the built in filebrowser to open files. They are by default in the /sdcard/torrent directory.
Q: My torrent is in seeding status for a while, when will it finish?
A: Seeding means it is downloaded, but others can download pieces from you.
Q: How can I clear the search history?
A: On the search result page press menu and the middle button is Clear History.
Q: I have received the email with the serial, but when I try to put it in, it doesn't allow me to select okay. What should I do?
A: The code should be entered with the "-" signs, it should look like XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.
Q: What is the peer id of tTorrent?
A: It uses the libtorrent default, "LT0F00".
It might be a better idea to switch restrictions for the free version. For example stop the speed cap and maybe only allow it to handle one torrent in queue. The free version already has ads in it and due to your situation with the Market and merchant registration it might attract more support and in the long run hopefully you can get an account. The speed cap forces users who want to stick in the marketplace to go to other uncapped free or pay clients.
ReplyDeleteThere is another reason for the limit. If there will be no download limit, the torrent traffic probably will eat up all the bandwith, therefore the ad fill rate would drop drastically.
ReplyDeleteProbably I will increase this limit to 250kB/s in a future version, but I do not want to release a free no limit version.
It's an amzing and stable torrent app for android so far.
ReplyDeleteTherefore, it's drawing me to purchase full version no matter how much money I would pay :)
But the thing is there's no way for me to pay through slideMe since it's not working.
Please find other ways to pay up.
Otherwise please get the limitation up to like 250KB, 500KB.
Thank you so much.
how do i change the save directory? i wrote down the path but nothing
ReplyDeleteYou can change the path before adding a new torrent. The already added torrents will not be moved to the new location. Later I can implement this, if it is needed.
ReplyDeleteHi bro, im using galaxy note 2 how do i change my save directory? It always save to my phone memory and not to my external sdcard, i have tried few times to change it but it seems not showing up my External SdCard so im having a problem if i want download a larger file.. please let know if u know how to fix this.. my email is arashan85@gmail.com thanks.
DeleteHi. I am having this problem with my Galaxy S3. worked fine on my old HTC. New torrents downloading to phone memory. cannot switch directories... in fact it says im already downloading to /sdcard/torrent. What gives?
Deleteit should be a
ReplyDelete"browse" button..
@tag how can i change it before adding a new torrent?
ReplyDeleteBefore you add the torret, go to the preferences, and update the path. If you add the torrent after this, it will be saved to the new location.
ReplyDeleteWhy does it keep asking me for a license to be able to watch the videos I download.....
ReplyDeletei did it but nothing..maybe i wrote wrong the path.it should be a button to select the external sd card
ReplyDeleteEverytime I search for a torrent, says failed. I was only able to make one download and I have the full version. Help plz mr.carteratl@gmail, thx in advance.

ReplyDeleteTorrent slows down to 1 bit a sec when phone sleeps.. prob Android OS power saving during phone sleep.. any one offer any advice?
ReplyDeleteAfter file reaches 100%, what must I do to access it?
ReplyDeleteI would also like to know hoe to access the file after its downloaded.
ReplyDeleteI can't find any price info for a full version
ReplyDeletedownload doesnt start even with a lot of seeds and a good connection. help !
ReplyDeleteI paid for a serial and received it. I put the serial in my old phone and things worked fine. Now I have a new captivate (due to my old one breaking) and it says the serial is invalid and it's not for this device.
ReplyDeleteI bought the full version when I was using the fresh rom. I recently switched over to cyanogen and now my serial no longer works. Its the same phone just an upgraded os. Any idea why it says the serial is not for this phone?
ReplyDelete@Justin M, gslime: Drop me an email with your device's wifi mac address, I will send you a new key.
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all thank you for your work. My question is; I have Samsung galaxy tab and my phone has internal card and external sd card. When choose the path "mnt/sdcard/external_sd/torrent"
I also tried "sdcard/external_sd/torrent" nothing happened it says that I don't have enough space on my card. Because my internal card is full and I wanna save them to the external sd. What should I do? Please help!
@omer: This was a known bug, I just released an update, it should have the fix for your problem.
ReplyDeleteEvery time I dl an update it erased all my torrents from the program but not the SD card. How can I re-add these?
ReplyDelete@Duke: You can found the torrent files in /sdcard/torrent folder.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your help! The update helped me out! It's perfect.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all i thk u to develop such a unique app.
ReplyDeleteI hv samsung galaxy3. My prob is related to its speed. In the beginning its speed was around 12- 16 KB ps but now after updating it it is not reaching even 1 KB ps it is in bitsps. My net download speed is normally 12-16 KB ps which i am still getting during downloading from opera etc app.
Please help me in this regard.
Thanks in adv
I am using free version. But then also it should give at least morethan 10 KBps.
ReplyDeleteI have ttorrent on my HTC Evo but when I click on the song it says downloading but nothing happens...need hell
ReplyDeletegreat app, but it doesn't seem to properly say how much it's uploaded. I'm seeding, not very fast (like between 50 and 100 B/s) but it always says uploaded total: 0 B
ReplyDeleteso i have no idea how bad my ratios are..
but in general it's a nice android torrent app :3
Everytime I try to download something it opens the little downloading screen then just stops.... nothing happens after that
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteGreat app... I'm testing it now before I buy full version. It works fine exept last 1% of the download. It downloads 100MB file in couple of minutes up to 99% but then speed drops to 25b/s and that last 1% needs 10 or more minutes to download. It happens every single time. Is this problem only in free version or???
Disregard my first post! I was wrong! It is not bug about speed but small bug about notifications!
ReplyDeleteBOUGHT THE FULL VERSION... AWESOME APPLICATION!!! Found 2 minor bugs (regarding notifications about uploaded data size and torrent download finished). Stable application, useful settings and commands, great torrent search engine (Torrent Search by Transdroid)... I recommend this application to everyone! Well worth $2.99!
Does ttorrent have the ability to "Watch" a directory for incoming torrent files? I would really like to use an RSS fetcher and have it load them up (just like you can do with uTorrent or rTorrent...on pc and linux).
ReplyDeleteThanks.
tTorrent won't download my files and I know there are seeders for my torrents.
ReplyDeleteI also am having an issue with dl torrents. I search for a file, it finds several, and I select one. A splash screen comes up saying "Downloading," but when I pull down the status, it shows nothing downloading. I have changed the download director to just the root of the SD card, and still it doesn't download.
ReplyDeleteTorrent Lite: search unavailable. Can't search because it needs Transdroid Search. Says I can install Transdroid by clicking on the Install button. I did that, but the search fails, says "No matches". WTF?
ReplyDeleteSo I searched all over, for Transdroid Search, but one site that had it, gave another download "fail". And since my android-OS mobile device is /not/ a cell phone, and therefore I don't have a cell # required to install, it becomes even more problematic to find an android site that will let me download w/o registering a cell number. But finally, I found a site that let me download Transdroid Search. So I successfully installed it on my device, but guess what. tTorrent still won't recognize the search application. Apparently, it is programmed to install Transdroid via its own built-in URL...which (also apparently) no longer exits. So I guess you need to update your app to point to a working URL.
ReplyDeleteOkay, easy to confuse Transdroid torrent server from Transdroid search. I finally found a location where one could simply download the search app w/o requiring a cell # (or a camera for QR code):
ReplyDeletehttp://code.google.com/p/transdroid-search/downloads/list
Good morning!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your work!
Every torrent I download says file is corrupt.
Any suggestions?
Scott
Do you use Kickasstorrents as search engine? It is not working now, but will be fixed soon in the coming update.
ReplyDeleteHelo, how can i remove a torrent, cause i found a wrong one and i dont wanna seed it to others.
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteI love the free version and would love to upgrade except I was investigating a problem that I had with symtorrent first and Yep, ttorrent is the same. When I finish downloading and restart, It will not continue to seed the completed torrent (I am an animator, this isimportant for me to share my work). Any advice on settings I could change.
Thank you
@Blair Fontane:
ReplyDeleteWhy do you think it is not seeded?
By default 1 torrent is seeded, but you can increase this to 5.
How do you mean restart?
If you shotdown the app and restart later, the same torrents should be there, with the same status.
Cheers Tag for your reply.
ReplyDeleteEven strong torrents (like a new Family Guy for example) will download and upload until 100%. When I close down ttorrent to move from one location to another, on restart of the programe the torrent is there at 100% but it will not upload any more (even though it is still a very strong torrent). I have confirmed that there are many seeds using transmission on my netbook at the same time. I have set up for 5 seeding torrents.
I was wondering if a different port number would help?
Any thoughts?
Sorry, I should have said that I confirmed that there was still many leechers using transmission.
ReplyDeleteJust can't wait until we can download more than 2gb at a time
ReplyDeleteHow do I get my phone to allow the installation of transdroid? When trying to install, a message pops up on my phone that says for security your phone is set to only allow installation of programs from the android market

When will this be able to download files upto 4 gb in size instead of just 2 gb? I don't want to pay for a program untill it can do this.
ReplyDeleteI have an htc evo. Every time I try to download a file the status says downloaing but nothing happens.
ReplyDeleteI have a problem with this app. It seems to download nicely, but when it comes to seeding it does not upload. What could be the solution?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the app! I did something that cleared my active torrents. I have half of a file downloaded. When I reload the torrent, it says I don't have room. I would have room if the torrent would resume rather than start over on a new file. Is this type of resume possible in the full version? Thanks...
ReplyDeleteI have a problem, the torrent status changes to scheduled? Rusning the Free app, but there's nothing in the preferences menu about scheduling at all? Wtf? I've been stuck with the same torrent for a few Days, got about 7% left and when it sometimes goes up to full speed (usually it is below 200b/s) the percentage decreases?? Am i the only One with that problem?
ReplyDeleteI had the same problem but found a fix. Find the associated hidden .partfile and remove it. Then force a recheck and the current should continue as normal. Usually the partfiles are small but in this case it was huge, perhaps that was part or all of the problem.
Deletehow to remove it?
Delete@digi7m Do a Force recheck when you Open the torrent. It Will search for the files, (make Sure you've set the directory correct and it should work.)
ReplyDeleteCurious to know why my download speeds stop stop around 300kb/s in 4g. I'm not upset about it or anything, I love this app and is hands down the best five dollar investment I have made. I just thought it could be faster. My tethering speeds are around 700kb/s - 1mb/s while in 4g. Is there something I can tweak to increase d/l speed?
ReplyDeleteIM getting a javaio.IOException what do I do
ReplyDeleteI am also getting the javaio.ioexception. App use to be perfect. Any idea why?
ReplyDeleteHi, sorry but I'm fairly new to torrents, ive upgraded to the the full version but I see no difference. I only get one page of search results, am I only doing something wrong? Cheers.
ReplyDeleteGuys, any hint on how to remove/stop from downloading one single file from a torrent that is already at the queue? Tks
ReplyDelete@BuBKa: Just set zero stars in the files view on the rating bar.
ReplyDelete@tag That was my hope, but as I touch, the star just dont go. Im running it in a Galaxy tab 10.1 with Honeycomb and also tryed with a Galaxy S with Gingerbread.
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Never had a problem untill just now, I am downloading audiobooks, the book is inside a torrent with a larg collection of books, the total download size wouls be fifty some gigs if I was to dl it all, but I just want one that's like five hundred megs big. I uncheck everything but the one I want and tell it to download. The download never starts tho, it just says queued for checking, if I pause it and then resume it says checking but no progress is ever made. Pllease help
ReplyDeleteHaving the same problem here. Ever get it to work?
DeleteDid you guys get a fix?
DeleteThe app won't UPload. Any Ideas?
ReplyDeleteBest torrent app so far for android btw
Great app, but I can't upload anything. I've downloaded with no problems, it says seeding but uploaded says 0B.
ReplyDelete@Sam: Yes, there are problems with the uploading. If you want to make it work, you have to be sure your phone is visible from the internet, port forwarding must be setup properly in case of wifi. If this requirement is met, other clients can connect to you and grab the data, but it is up to them, if they choose you or some other client. Anyway, I am trying to improve this part.
ReplyDeleteLove my tTorrent Pro! Wondering about IP filter...set for auto updates. But can't locate the filter file; not under sdcard/torrent, or anywhere else. How can I be sure this feature is working? TIA.
ReplyDeleteIt should be at the default save folder, /sdcard/torrent, and it's name is level1.p2p.gz.
DeleteThanks...I accidentally replied outside of your post, but it should be right after it anywayz.
DeleteThanks, that's what I suspected. So I just downloaded that file, and will place it there shortly. I greatly appreciate your help...hope you have a FUNtastik day. :)
ReplyDeleteI just upgraded the lite version to pro and I have lost speed. Before I would be at a steady 250-260 kbs per sec, but now we are talking more like 150 kbs per sec. I am sure there is a explanation to this. Anybody?
ReplyDeleteFirst of all thank you for your work.
ReplyDeleteI have a question regarding people downloading from me. Is there a risk that people are accessing files (my personal photos, videos etc). Is the only folder that is accessed the torrent folder?
Others can access only the file you share with them, the content of the torrent directory is not shared automatically, only the files which belongs to a torrent which is downloaded/seeded.
DeleteI have used the app previously with great satisfaction. After the latest update for my Droid bionic when I first login it says,"no suitable network available".
ReplyDeleteWhat gives?
Everytime i try to download a torrent i keep getting "corgetting file). Does anyone know why thatis??
ReplyDeleteRunning it on new tab 2 10.1, search works but nothing ever downloads, it keeps showing around 249 peers buttoned sharing.... need help asap
ReplyDeleteMake sure you have upnp enabled on your router, or make sure your port is open in the router for ttorrent on udp and tcp. You can check your port number in the settings on ttorrent. You can also use port forwarding to your phone's ip address on a static ip network.
DeletePeople who use torrent clients normally download every paid file for free as torrent, including torrent Pro.
ReplyDeleteHow to remove a dowloaded torrent from the app?
ReplyDeleteJust do a long tap on the torrent, and choose the desired remove option.
DeleteHow do I set this app to run through orweb???? Am I right with porting/proxy if so a simpletons as I got no idea
ReplyDeleteSorry orbot
DeleteI've had some problems with tTorrent under the following conditions: I am running tTorrent Pro. I am downloading a torrent. I plug the phone into my computer and select "Disk Drive" rather than "Charge Only". When I go back to tTorrent, all the torrents I'm downloading are missing from the list (All, Dwnlding, or Complete). The only way to get them back is to go to the disk location, and select the torrent file. It then checks the file and continues the dl. However, I would think that this should be automatic.
ReplyDeleteUpload speed is slow, slow, slow. I think it's just the DHT. I don't think my torrents are uploading at all. Downloads great though. Love it. Checked all my ports and everything looks good, so I thought I'd ask the pros!
ReplyDeleteI have free version. But this is my question. I had downloaded a bunch of music, a file of apps, and other files from p.b. However i notice today, my whole list of torrents that are seeding in my app except for new ones i downloaded sunday. Are missing. And the ones i downloaded sunday although showing up in files and on music player are redownloading. Plus all but a few files before sunday are missing from my ext sd card. And when i went to files threw torrent lt it said alot of torrents were corrupt, when they wernt on sat.. Todays tuesday.. Any ideas???
ReplyDeleteIt seems that seeding from pro version is still impossible. And that was the only reason for I purchased the application. It might be time for the developer to finally set seeding from his application as a priority fix and do something about that.
ReplyDeleteUsing Pirate Bay Torrent with TTorrent lite. Torrent was selected from Pirate Bay and I can monitor download progress in the TTorrent but downloading metadata always stays at 0% no matter which torrent I select. ReplyDeleteI have the pro version and my problem is everytime i do a search i get a message now telling me there is no available network and that can't be a real problem as i am posting this using the same network it says is not available. How do i fix this?
ReplyDeleteP.S. I am running this on a Galaxy Tab 10.1 and never had ths problem prior to the last update!
Why it that the maximum peers are always set at 250?
ReplyDeleteOk so here is a revision of my problem and for real i paid for this crap can i get some real help!! Everytime I do a search i get message telling me "No results provider error" Please tell me how to fix this problem!!
ReplyDeleteWhich search provider do you use? Have you tried to change it?
DeleteI have an S3 with external Sd card, can I save file straight to this ?
ReplyDeleteI don't know. Have you tried to select the external sdcard as target directory? I can imagine it won't work for the same reason as the external HDDs with tablets.
DeleteAs far as I've read, this "external storage issue" is related to Android OS itself, not to ttorrent... Is there any plans of including a "move on completion" feature? At least that would allow us to move completed files to the external storage and keep downloading other files in the internal one...
DeleteI am planning to do this move on completion thing, but I think the problem will be the same, the app won't have the permission to write to the external storage.
DeleteI can't download large torrents. PDFs and stuff like that (20-30 mb) works fine, but music albums (60-70 mb and more) get stuck at 3-4%. I have plenty of room on my SD card. Could it be the internal memory that is too small?
ReplyDeleteI figured out what the problem is. You have to save to internal first. I am using an android tablet. I have a 32gb card both internal and expansion (Toshiba Thrive). I deleted and restarted with an internal save. This solved it. Once i am done downloading, i will move to the expansion. Hope this helps everyone else.
ReplyDeleteBut isn't it bothering to limited by sd card's storage size?
DeleteI bought a 4 GB sd just because my device insistently wanted it.
I think they must solve this soon.
I have a Dark Android Box and i purchased pro version. For a while it was flawless but after close and open my device my ttorrent didn't continue downloading. It says checking files %0 for all torrents. Both completed and the continuing ones.
ReplyDeleteI use 2 TB USB HDD for storage torrents.
Human beings' technological level can still make me laugh even in this decades :) Uninstall and re-install still useful for this case.
DeleteThanks for ttorrent's developers :)
Why does my internet keeps dropping when downloading torrents usong ttorrent pro. I use galaxy note. It jeeps disconnecting like every 2 minutes.
ReplyDeleteI have bought ttorrent pro and it doesn't go past 160 KB/s mark, I'm using a TF300T with keyboard and my wifi ADSL2+ internet that can go up to 1.5 MB/s DL and 100 KB/s UL with no internet shaping. I've used bittorrent beta before this and it got up to those speeds but when I use ttorrent pro, it barely scratches it. Can anybody please explain this.
ReplyDeleteNevermind, the UL limit had to be increased for this software to increase the DL limit, this is a bad programming error since other torrent programs work better without the influence of the UL limit.
ReplyDeleteNot enough space left to download the torrent.
ReplyDeleteThis is the message i get for any size any type of file. I have more than 20gb free. Solutions?
My downloads work only on wifi but never on gsm. How can i solve this pls.
ReplyDeleteI have been using this app for a couple of weeks and love it. However in the last few days I have getting more and more file corrupted msgs. I normally use kickass for my torrent searches. Help?
ReplyDeleteHi, i jes Ve downloaded the lite version of torrent on my htc-one but the problem is that i m simply unable to open myvideo....since there isnt any file/icon namely sd card. So kindly help me out.
ReplyDeleteThat wd b really appreciated if u reply me.
ReplyDeleteHave you tried to open it from the built in filebrowser? You can easily navigate to the default torrent directory with the dropdown. Just tap on the file you want to open, it will work if you have the neccessary app to open the file.
DeleteThere is no back our up directory button in the set download folder. How am i supposed to select my location when I'm stuck in a directory
ReplyDeleteYou can use the back button of the device. This will be corrected in the next update.
DeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteFirst of all I love this client and it is amazing. The only problem or configuration issue is the upload speed and ratio. It seems that although my Torrents are seeding, the upload speed never exceeds 1 Kb/s. It only exceeds this if I'm downloading. I tried this with multiple torrents and different sites. I also tried all the settings on the client and through wifi and 3g/4g. I have the Samsung G3 running on ice cream.. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong as my ratio on the torrent sites are terrible now. I don't want to have to buy another Torrent app just for the uploads as none compare to the Pro version I bought. Appreciate any help.
Mark
To make uploading work properly, your device should be reachable from the outside. This means in case of a WiFi network the incoming port should be forwarded. In case of 3g/4g it is more problematic, as most mobile data network don't supply a global ip, so other peers can't reach you. If you are using 3g/4g, you can utilize the proxy option, but of course you will need a proxy server for this.
DeleteThank you for replying. I agree with the Port forwarding and I set my router to forward 6890 (please correct me of your app is configured differently). I have tested this port out and even though I'm connected to 200+ peers my upload rarely goes above 1.5 Kb/s.. The highest I've seen is 1.8 Kb/s and this is on a very wanted torrent. Please advise on any other options. Aside from that your software is ready the best and I'd pay for support its that good but please help on the upload.
DeleteThank you
Mark
Same problem for me. I have configured my router to forward 6890 port (both in TCP and UDP) to my device (galaxy note 10.1), but my upload speed stays under 1KB/S.
DeleteHow do I delete a downloading torrent file. I don't want to download the item anymore. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI have an app called Simon Tatham's puzzles. When I click a link in the help file, I get a box that says, "invalid torrent, torrent file corrupt." I have no way of figuring out what file type it is. I'm assuming it's simply a link to another part of a help file. Any way to fix this?
ReplyDeleteTag, do you have any information on my issue?
DeleteThe download stops every 2 minutes, I have to pause and unpause to continue download... any solution?
ReplyDeleteSame here! Working fine till I paid to upgrade to pro. Help!?!
DeleteIs to possible to add priorities to individual files. Say I have 10 files in the torrent, and I want the 1st file to download quickly.
ReplyDeletein utorrent I would assign high priority to 1st file. Can something similar happen with tTorrent?
On the details view, on the files tab you can change the file priorities with the rating bar(the stars). 3 stars = highest priority.

ReplyDeleteBoth Barberis and I posted on November 9 of having the same issue with upload speed. Is there any fix coming or is it something that your software is not capable of doing? The only time upload speed goes above 1.5 Kb is when I'm downloading. I have tested with many torrents, sending many that are in high demand and ones that I'm a few seeders with many leeches. I tried port forwarding, all the settings and still upload is terrible. I tried this on wifi and network. Can you please address this issue?
ReplyDeleteThank you
I am working on addressing the issue, I hope the fix will be available in the next update.
DeleteOk thank you very much.
DeleteThis is fixed now in 1.0.4.
DeleteGot a request to update my network security settings for my MS Exchange account for work and now tTorrent is always paused in the status bar. I can't find a way to activate tTorrent from the settings menu, ICS status bar or Android settings menu. Any suggestions?
ReplyDeleteWhats the fix for the java.io.ioexception error?
ReplyDeleteDont know if I fluked it? changing settings sorted it out. ticked random port and unticked dht. clicke upnp
DeleteThis settings are not related to this error, maybe the torrent site was down temporary.
Deletei've tried every search engine in the settings, but it still won't find anything that i search for. BitSnoop will find what i'm searching for but it says that every torrent file is corrupt. wtf?

ReplyDeleteIt used to work excellent:-(
Every torrent file i download from torrentzilla says corrupt file. Other sites work fine and the problem only occurs when the download is initiated via chrome. Opera for example works fine... Kind of confused on this one.
ReplyDeleteGreat app by the way. U-torrent couldnt of done better :-)

When I download a movie it used to let me watch it but I had to uninstall the app and re-install it and not when its finished downloading I go to my file and it says cannot open this file. And then the other part that downloads with it says I need a password to watch the movie because its locked but it don't even give me a place to even put in a password in the first place. Simply will not let me even open the movie period. Please help
ReplyDeleteHow can I increase the download speed when downloading torrents?
ReplyDeleteI've had this for a while now and it worked fine but for the past couple of weeks every torrent I try to download says 'file corrupted'.
ReplyDeleteAny help?
Do you use the built in search? Have you tried to change the search site?
DeleteI used several sites that used to work fine but now don't. I'd never tried the built in search before but I've just used it and it works fine. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteadditional info : torrent data is stored on ext sd 32gb card.
thx guys :)
Is there a known problem with ttorrent crashing Android if you set the directory to an external SD rather than the internal sd. When I use the internal, it spikes the CPU constantly and freezes the tablet so I can't use it for anything else at the time. It is downloading fine but it seems to get bogged down. When I told it to write to my 32GB class 10 microsd card there was NO lag whatsoever but within 5 minutes of starting ttorrent the whole system crashes. Until it crashes it seems to be working normally and I don't seem to have a problem with the card itself. Kinda at a loss why it's crashing the system.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it is overheating, but I am not sure.
DeleteHi, this has been working fine but download speeds are very slow, usually takes 24h to download a 350mb file, the main annoyance is it keeps going to 'download scheduled' or ' checking files scheduled' every so often and just hangs. How do i force recheck? Just tap the refresh button?? Pausing and unpausing works for a minute or two but that is all...
ReplyDeleteHello I usually dont buy apps because well... i use torrents but since your lite version was so awesome and since i dont have internet were i live... long story short your lite version helped a lot... with that in mind i bought the pro version and i followed instructions deleted everything but it still wont get pass 200 kb... and my lite version was faster i even tweaked all the settings. Is there any settings you recommend for a galaxy note 2 because its downloading a torrent i downloaded with lite at 250kb... pro version is downloading at 875... bytes. And yes i said bytes so this bytes help me out.... thanks
ReplyDeleteI have a Samsung galaxy w. just got the pro version. whenever i leave to dl overnight it appears to go into schedule mode and stops downloading. Also when i connect phone to desktop it clears all my torrents that I've partially dl'd and have to reload the torrents in the app. when reloaded it cannot find files to resume. I've lost about 4 days worth of partial downloads. any fix/ advice? Thinking of going back to lite. v frustrating.
ReplyDeleteHi,
DeleteThe scheduled state happens if there is some error, and the downloaded data cannot be written to the sdcard.
When you mount your device to a computer, you should stop tTorrent, as android automatically unmounts the sdcard, and the apps have no access to it while it is mounted to the pc. I am sure the downloaded data was not deleted, you only have to re-add the torrents, and they will continue after a re-check.
I have the same problem with torrent pro and recheck it's not the solution for me. I am still looking for it. I can't find either the ".partfile" files.
DeleteAny help would be helpful?
Thanks
Get the app "file manager" in the file your downloading to (usually /torrent), it will be in there, marked .partfile
DeleteLove this app, upgraded to pro. Now when I try to download to my external sd card, the download never starts but when I download to the internal it downloads perfectly. That would be okay but when I try to move the files to my sd card, it doesnt work. Im using a Samsung Galaxy tab 2 Same problem happens when Iuse the free version Any solutions to this? Please and thanks for your help
ReplyDeleteI think the answer for this is this FAQ item:
Delete"I have an external SD card/HDD, but tTorrent cannot save my downloads there. Why?"
Have you tried to copy files to your external sdcard with 3rd party filebrowser?
i am downloading 3 torrents simultaneously and the one which is the biggest in size the ratio got to 1.6 and this means the upload is more than twice the speed than download. i get around 1 to 15 kb download and 1 to 50kb upload, what gives?
ReplyDeleteGo to the network settings and set a limit to the upload rate, but don't set it less than 5% of the required downloading speed.in other words,if you have a diwnloading speed of 100 kb,don't set the uploading rate below 5kb or 10kb preferably
DeleteHave been using ttorrent pro for months and haven't had a problem. All of a sudden, it won't let me search. It says provider error, when my wifi works completely normal for everything else. I've uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, tried reconnecting my wifi and nothing works. Any ideas?
ReplyDeleteWhich search provider do you use? Have you tried to change it?
Deleteis there a way to better automatize the RSS downloading process?
ReplyDeletefor example: atm im using an RSS to download updated stuff, which i let Ttorrent download in automatic way, all goes fine.
Whenever files finish to download i move them to a storage path.
In that moment, Ttorrent start downloading those same files AGAIN, so that i have to stop and remove all the data+torrent manually.
Isnt there a way to make it stop?
I dont know if its cause of the .torrent not deleted from Ttorrent after download or by the automatic RSS refresh, but still i have to stop everytime manually.
Any help appreciated :-)
This must be a bug, I will try to reproduce it, and fix. When a feed item is added, it shouldn't be added anymore, even if it hasn't been finished, except if you delete and re-add the whole feed.
DeleteIve found a simple workaround:
Deletewhen i automatically move the downloaded files (a simple .sh) i also get rid of the .torrent files used in the main "torrent" path.
This way Ttorrent seem to understand i dont want/need to download those files again (same as "delete torrent files" from the GUI actually, of course) even when the RSS is refreshed.
The best would be, since 1 row from the RSS feed means 1 .torrent, which also means 1 target file, that when that target file is "finished" that row should be removed from the RSS window, and reappear only if RSS is forced to refresh (not a usual update then, meaning "force" and "update" are 2 different things).
As a user i'd be happy to see something similar ;-)
When i add torrents via magnet links the option to select which files i want to download seems to have dissappeared. Any way of getting it back? Running on nexus 7. And thanks for a great app! Been using it for almost two years!
ReplyDeleteYou cannot select files when adding magnet links because the file list information is not available in a magnet link. After the metadata is downloaded, you can select/deselect the files.
DeleteAt the beginning I want to express my satisfaction with this torrent client. However, during downloading ,the torrent is scheduled(I don't know how or why) and stops downloading.i have a very fast internet connection and i believe the problem is from the program itself. this happens at least once every hour.please fill me in ASAP
ReplyDeleteI have been using ttorrent for a while now love the app and it's only recently its shut off my Internet and accused me of tethering whilst iv been downloading. Was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and how to over come it as I miss downloadin and using this app
ReplyDeleteWhen I first purchased my home about 6 months ago I just had internet service alone through comcast and I believe it was 6mps service. About a month or two ago I decided to get a bundle package to watch tv on my tablet and am currently at 54Mbps. Before I made the switch I was downloading everything on torrents at almost 2Mbps and now I am lucky if I get 500k. I complained to the cable company and they came to my house and rewired everything from electrical post out on the street to my modem. I explained my ordeal to the comcast people and they told me they don't limit down speeds unless you are consuming massive amounts of bandwidth (terabyte). I am just very frustrated with having "fast internet" and downloading torrents so slow. I only own a tab 2 no tv or pc. Doesn't matter which torrent client I use they all download slow. I figured I'd buy ttorrent after reading good reviews about it online, still the same thing. Oh yeah, I went into my router settings and totally disabled the firewall to not mess with download speeds. I know it is not recommended to do this but I did anyway.
ReplyDeleteSOMEONE PLEASE HELP. Thanks
Please help.

How to download files above 4gb...,plz help....?
ReplyDeleteHi, love this app but for some reason its saying "queued for checking". I've downloaded plenty before w/ no problem, i think it updated the torrent and is that why its doing that?? plz help!!!! would greatly appreciate it
ReplyDeleteScheduling status issue while using tTorrent Pro:
ReplyDeleteWhile attempting to download, tTorrent continually keeps changing the status to "Scheduled".
I'm not connecting/disconnecting phone from PC and there's no partial files. Not sure why this keeps happening but it's annoying!
Motorola RAZR HD Android version 4.1.2
Also, as long as I keep the screen on the app works fine, it only switches to "scheduled" when I turn off the screen. And, my task manager is set to ignore tTorrent so that's not the cause if you thought it may be.
DeleteWhere is any help regarding rss auto download feature? Eg. What is the filter format? I'm trying to configure multiple downloads for same feed and I don't know how. Commas? Anything else?
ReplyDeleteHelp! My downloads are not starting just says "queued for checking"
ReplyDeleteI was using without issue, then my died and I had to reinstall.
ReplyDeleteNow, any download cuts off my 3g and I get a message saying my connection is trying to use tethering.

ReplyDeleteHello, great software!
ReplyDeleteI tried to use the incoming folder feature, but it doesn't work.
When I put a .torrent file in the folder, the software doesn't start download automatically. What to do? Tried changing folder location, no luck.
why don't have an "search engine" on my Ttorrent lite ???
ReplyDeleteI have Pro and some of the search clients have disappeared. Now I can't find half of the stuff im looking for. Very limited now, not sure if i am happy about paying for it.
ReplyDeletethe pro version is donkey doo-doo
ReplyDeletePleassssse help me this is a real error you must solve : In every time I download with you nice app it stopped with this ugly error said : "file is too short p ***" please help me I am dying because of this
ReplyDeleteI used to use ttorrent on my rooted Kindle fire and it was amazing. Extremely well designed and thought through.
ReplyDeleteRecently upgraded to nexus 7 and consistently (I don't remember it ever not happening) get errors that interrupt downloads within the first hour. Generally the error is "file too short," Sometimes "file too long", very rarely a third one that I can't recall.
I have tried reinstalling and toggling as many settings as I can find.
Interrupted system call was the third error.
DeleteThe third error is "system call interrupted"
